About PraxisEins. 🏥 ⚕
German primary care in 3 sentences: 35 percent of GPs are over the age of 60. Outpatient care relies on 30 year old software. The bureaucracy has grown massively over the last few years.
PraxisEins is here to change all that. We partner with doctors to broadly improve patient outcomes and boost the "doctor experience" along the way.
PraxisEins is a leading software-enabled primary-care provider in Germany. We operate clinics with 3-6 doctors and treat over 200,000 patients per year.

- KISS principle 😘 — "Keep it simple, stupid", or maybe more appealing: "Keept it simple and straightforward!" As Robert C. Martin suggests in his all-time software engineering classic "Clean Code" complicated, unreadable, or simply bad code can paralyse any engineering organization. We believe in KISS because it is most often the best solution to hard problems.
- Made in Germany 🇩🇪 — We believe in German engineering tradition. A culture that has spawned BMWs or Audis definitely has something to say about design, elegance, and engineering precision. After all in today's global village, this does not mean however that a product needs to be build in Germany.
- Extreme ownership 🪖 — "The best leaders don't just take responsibility for their job. They take Extreme Ownership of everything that impacts there's mission." - Jocko Willink, ex Navy SEAL officer. Ownership is extremely important to us. A developer/engineer should not only own his/her piece of code but the product's direct value to the user.

What we offer
- Remote — About 80% of our time is spent remotely, 10% on-site in Athens 🇬🇷, 10% on-site in Frankfurt/Main 🇩🇪 at our headquarters. By no means do you need to be located in Athens.
- Employment level — All positions are full-time (>=40h per week). Flexible arrangements are possible.
- Continous learning — We financially support any GCP or other certification that our staff does.
- Above market compensation — We do believe in the 10x developer and compensate accordingly. (We do not see 10x in relation to one's peers but rather in the sense of how much value one developer can generate.)
Our interview process
- Intro call 📞 — After your application you will receive a quick call from one of our staff. This serves mainly for you to understand if the role and we as a company are interesting to you. Ask as many questions as you would like.
- Take-home task 🏠 — We will provide you with a coding challenge fitted to the role that you are applying for. The task will try to challenge your creativity, logical thinking capabilities and attitude toward precision. We will try to keep it brief so you do not need to invest too much of your precious time.
- Technical interview ⚙ — One of our engineers will go in depth with you on one of your projects or your take-home task. We want to understand how you discuss technical topics.
- Culture-fit interview 🌴 — Peter Drucker's "Culture eats strategy for breakfast" has become famous. We would like to understand if you are a team player and whether you like our company culture.
